That's the worst excuse I've ever heard..

Why? Another excuse could be I don't want to spend two hours surrounded by people who can't be quiet, can't sit for two minutes without playing on their phone, can't sit for more than a few minutes without needing to leave/go to the toilet etc. do I need to list more? It's common courtesy not to post spoilers. If you've seen the film, great but don't be selfish and ruin other peoples' enjoyment.

I haven't seen the film myself and so look forward to receiving this soon. The Steelbook looks great and I hope I enjoy the film as much as most other people have.

There's discounted 'Seniors' screenings for the over 60's. You may not be quite that old but you certainly sound it.

Not true in my case
When I saw the blade stick out of the chest it had a lot of impact in the cinema, and you knew the blow was fatal, with that gone you're just going to see him jerk forward like he's having a back spasm, and the shock factor is lost

I completely agree regarding the impact of the cut/edit (see spoiler). I'm pretty sure the UK release won't be cut though.

If anyone is writing something that's considered a spoiler there should be used spoiler-tags. It doesn't matter if "everyone" has seen the movie or not. It's common courtesy imo.
Exactly. There should be no argument about it... the spoiler tags are there for a reason. ;)

So because I don't want: people kicking the back of my chair, playing on phones, spilling popcorn over me, talking instead of watching, to pay a fortune to see a film, pay a fortune for food and drinks, sit through twenty minutes of adverts for films I don't want to see, I must be a pensioner? Haha, funny guy. I'm very sorry I don't conform to your ideals.

Wow, and you know what you sound from your comment? Like an immature 13 year old who assume's things about people.

Spoiler tag's are there for a reason. There are a lot of people that don't go to cinema's to watch movies and they actually wait for the movie to come out on home media instead of stealing it from the internet so its perfectly plausible that some people still haven't seen the movie. Me personally I was at the theatre day 1 of release but that doesn't mean I assume everyone else has seen the movie.

Snooloui, couldn't agree with you more! I used to love going to the cinema, but now it just stresses me out! People don't seem to go to enjoy a great film, they go more for a social gathering, to have a chat and a laugh! Giving a running commentary as it goes. Fortunately The Avengers was so loud, I couldn't hear them! lol :)

I usually skip films at the cinema, and just wait for the steelbook.

I have to say I usually do the same now, and only a very few movies will tempt me back into the cinema experience. And even then I'm always apprehensive that the movie will be spoiled by those who don't know how to behave in a movie theatre. Other than the Avengers, Prometheus, and the new Bond, there hasn't been much recently to persuade me to buy cinema tickets again.

Besides which, if you buy yourself a 50" Plasma and a 7.2 THX sound system, your home presentation will be technically superior to a typical cinema show anyway. Why not watch the movie in its best possible state?

My neighbours have a 4 month old baby, so this isn't an option for me :(

What and their baby never makes any noise that disturbs you?

It's just self defence! :naughty:

You got that spot on there! Turn it up that's what I do lol. If they dont like it then they can move there's certain films that have to be loud! Especially the avengers watched It the other day and it's Immense I was blaring that theme tune out! It had to be done that film is epic :scat:
