Given that their Hunger Games exclusive arrived on the Saturday before release date only a couple of weeks ago people *expected* the same again this time. That's not an outrageous expectation.

However given that every other part of HMV's service is dropping off at a rapid rate, the fact that they let some cowboy company deliver their products should come as no surprise.

Shame I have the French 3D version from France already, the German 3D copy from Germany already and the Italian 2D copy from Italy already. I still have to wait for my UK pre-order from UK as HMV cannot get its house in order. HMV: stop using TNT, put warehouse back in Guernsey and I'd bet it would be here already. Rant over.

Looking forward till tomorrow when I expect it to be here.

Are you guys serious ?? You're moaning about not receiving a title BEFORE it's release date, you're all aware the release date is the 17th not 15th right. ??

You're all getting really over this. Yet you have absolutely NO right to expect it before release date. correct me if I'm wrong but HMV have never stated 'we guarantee you'll receive this item, before it's official launch date if you pre order with us' You've no grounds what so ever to expect, to have the steelbook in your hands right now.

Over the years I've ordered countless games, dvds and blu rays from the likes of HMV, zavii, asda, play, tesco, game, gameplay, amazon. Only with play have i EVER received a pre order a few days early. Yeah I know you frequently get your play.com steels before release date. But thats more of a perk you MAY get with play,and you should be thankfully it happens often. But clearly they spoil us with it. If people come out days before launch moaning they've yet to receive their steelbooks.

So just Leave your "I hate HMV' and "they're crap' messages until monday if you still haven't received your steel by then. CAuse at least then you'll have a valid reason for moaning. And you'll avoid looking like a bunch of spoilt brats

Yep Ireland get new releases on a Friday and not the Monday.

That actually makes a lot of sense since people are renting or buying a movie or something on the weekend. Don't know why the US releases on tuesday.

Yeah miy Hunger Games were all in boxes. HMV just needs to get the rest of its act together.

Postie probably won't be here till 4 so might pop into town and see if I can snag a couple.
