As true as that is, I personally still don’t appreciate people who come on here to essentially say “I’m glad I’ve got my copy!” moments after the news was broke that the quantity of stock will be even lower than originally anticipated. Leaves a sour taste.
I fully accept that it’s the admins decision on the transfer policy with Black Panther, but it still doesn’t sit right with me personally. Nor am I hoping that the decision will be reversed. I know it won’t be. It’s more the case that I feel everyone on this site should be given equal chance to secure their copy.
I completely agree with you and I feel it was a very bad gesture to do from the admins as well. If they want to do something nice, then give all those customers a 10%-20% discount or free shipping, but to transfer to another group buy is actually a bad decision!
Yes, the ones that can transfer will be happy, but that defintely takes away an equal chance for your other supporters that did not get Black Panther. Things get delayed and you could have easily given a discount instead of transferring the group buys to probably will be the most sought out Marvel Movie of its time! This will be the hardest one to get, then with less quanitities allocated and then doing this BP transfer is just horrible.
You might see this as Highdefninja doing this out of good faith thinking it is a good gesture, but only to the ones that bought BP. THIS is NOT an equal decision. And as a professional business you should not do gestures like this so many that come here supporting the site will only be left angry that you catered to just the BP group because of a delay..
No offense, but that is not a good business decision and their are better ways to show you care like I mentioned by giving a discount or free shipping. Or a discount on shipping. Crazy to allow a group buy to just transfer when this will be hard to get and now this decision has separated your member/customers unequally. I can't believe HighDef would do a transfer from BP to Infinity War knowing that this will be one of the hardest Marvel Movies to get!
I don't understand why customers can't just order direct from Bluefans and Bluefans only sells to GroupBuys.. I feel a Group Buy should never carry over due to a delay.....
I waited 3 years for the Lord of Darkness PCS statue and no I was not given options to transfer or anything..
When a company wants to do a good gesture for a delay then offer discounts and they will be happy with that. That is a win-win situation then because the customers will always be happy with a discount and your company can still recoup that discount money in the future... Now, that is a good gesture...
How is it a "good gesture" when you cater to only the BLACK panther Group Buy and leave the rest of your Group Buy members in panic mode???
When you favor only certain customers and other customers that are not getting that royal treatment it shows and people notice! If you really want to do a good gesture then think to do things that will have an equal effect on the whole community.
What I mean by that is if a customer gets a discount on delays then anyone can get a discount on a delay, but if only people that got BP are only allowed to transfer then not everyone is eligible; therefore creating an unequal gesture.
Was HighdefNinja really being considerate as they say or thinking of a way to yes do a good thing, but also in a way where they don't lose money... If they just allow a transfer to the BP Customers that shows to them a good gesture and makes HighdefNinja not lose any money, but also doing this is unfair and unequal to do when the non BP buyers see what you did here!
While you would take a small loss by offering a discount instead to BP buyers would make this situation much more fair..
Business should treat their whole community equal and I don't approve of this so called good gesture as I feel it was a bad one to the rest of your customers and fan base!
Others have not spoken up, but I have heard through a group of people that doing this transfer is not good and wish more logical solutions to a movie delay would be used.
I honesty can't believe Marvel/Disney allows Bluefans to only sell to Group Buys because nothing is ever released for sale on their direct site as it just gets listed as sold out. I even checked and Bluefans won't sell direct.
If I was at Disney someone could get a nice smack of some common sense into their brain or maybe compassion and not allow one off companies like Bluefans only sell direct to group buy sites. I love this forum, but honestly the group buys in my opinion are sloppy and no reason to have them if a store can just sell direct? I buy direct from HD Zeta, FA, and Manta Labs easily so what is it with Bluefans that a regular person just can't go their and order direct?
This almost is the same as being a monopoly saying I have to buy it from a group buy is the only way to obtain it and sorry to say, but that is whack!
