You're just opening one? You don't want replacements for all of them?

That's the dilemma isn't it, what'll hold it's value more when I sell up; a sealed copy with a scratched steelbook or an opened copy with a mint steelbook?

Would you buy a sealed copy knowing that 99.9% it is scratched BR inside?
Btw replacement steels are not manufactured yet but I requested one. I was crying during the process of opening it but at least I could enjoy in ad-ons haha

Depends if you're buying it with the intention of keeping it sealed, I'd never buy a single edition of something and not open it but there are obviously those who do

tbh if Weet know more or less every copy is scratched they should provide replacements for everyone without them even needing to request them (of course they shouldn't have sent any out in the first place knowing the issues)

Nice looking slips, and it's nice they listened to collector's feedback to make the banners see-through.

I think wanting a request is good, because that’d mean that the resellers buyers can market he request, but the way the request should go is they simply take a picture of the packaging (if sealed) and the card with the number on it. Tha’td keep them from getting fake/duplicate requests, while accommodating ebay buyers.

I buy with intention to keep it sealed if possible but I have opened it anyways.
But yeah you maybe right about replacement thing.

Getting my type B1 today and I still gotta make up my mind.
I always leave my stuff sealed but this time, maybe for the first time, I'll need to open it up to check the conditions. I'm also curious what doing that feels like ahah

So if i gonna buy one on ebay or someone with a one clic sell some slips i can not ask Weet for an repleacement if the steel is scratched?

I had a reply from WeET, they’re going to post a replacement steelbook in the new year. Can’t say fairer than that.

I got a reply from them as well, but when I asked if they needed my address (since I got my copy off ebay) they replied they will just use the address on their site. I am already a member on their site, but I don’t know if this means they will check and see if I ordered directly from them or not.
