I'm having a hard time understanding the people who picked the editions with the soundtrack

I don't even have CD drives anymore in my computers so what's the point?? Is this 1999 again? It's the digital age especially when it comes to music...I converted to completely digital music ages ago and having the soundtrack included drives the price up considerably. Not to be mean but have y'all never heard of Spotify/YouTube/SoundCloud/Pandora??? You can listen to the soundtrack for FREE online. Smh.

As far as the poll goes I selected the UHD + Blu-ray option as it's future proof but contains nothing I don't want/don't need.

I was really looking forward to this release but there's no way I'm gonna pay over 70 bucks for this.

A CD plays in any Dvd or Blu-ray player

Still plenty of people who buy CD's. They aren't as popular as they once were but a lot of people still prefer the sound quality of a CD over downloads.
I personally would have preferred this with the 4K and standard blu-ray aswell though, the price is too high for me.

CD is the exact same quality as download, you just have to download from the right place (FLAC). And if people want CDs, they can just buy it themselves somewhere else. I'll buy the vinyl for example, and I also have this soundtrack on my iPhone, so I really don't need this CD. 4K+Blu-Ray+Bonus would have been the perfect way to go with this release. And I'm certainly not paying 70€ for a release like that.

Seriously, can't anyone speak to FAC ? Couldn't they give us a choice to include the soundtrack or the bonus ? And have a better price ?

we for my 50p bet, i'm reckoning you get that config for 1500czk they would want to see maximum cash xtraction:hilarious:

Technically there isn't a "main" one as results from both polls count, so it doesn't really matter which you use to vote. ;)

Seeing as how the steelbook does not match the rest of the package .... I feel its better to keep the disc options cheap, as their slipbox will be great and one could just add a different steelbook in later with all the discs you prefer.

Granted, had their not been an ONSLAUGHT of awesome stuff coming from everyone lately ....... I'd say pimp the whole thing out with all the discs.

but thats just me...........

Off course you can get higher quality downloads but not everyone does. Most people like the convenience of downloads rather than worrying about the quality.
I do agree I would rather they didn't include the soundtrack, it takes the price too high.

Teens download music, collectors buy physical. There has been a huge backlash against digital music over the last year with vinyl making a huge come back and in some European countries outselling cds. Also some genres still see huge sales in cds as fans of certain types of music especially hard rock and metal don't download as much.

That said I'm not paying over 40 quid for that package as the steelbook stinks

I collect the music and I'm not a teen (I might be 2 teens), but I can't remember the last physical media I bought for myself. And I really don't get vinyl, but that's just me.

Actually, I can remember. I have this kicking about somewhere...

n13067.jpg

On polls conducted on various music mags the results were basically the same, under 18's download the most, with over 18's still buying physical formats. It's the over 18's that are basically keeping cd's and vinyl alive. I've never even once downloaded a song. I buy on average 5 to 10 cd's a week and around 2 vinyl LP's. Metal fans were found to be the biggest physical buyers prefering to own digipaks, coloured vinyl and limited edition cd's over digital media.

It's funny when you think of the guy in charge of this who must have went "I KNOW! Instead of Pink used for all the promotional materials for this film and the theme which has been consistent since Day 1 I'll change it to Yellow....Genius, absolutely genius"

Hmmm, maybe. The irony for me is that I used to collect all of those specials, vinyl aside, when I was in my teens and early twenties. Most of which I've still got in boxes from when I last moved. As I've got older, I don't want the physicals. Also trangely, I found that when I first started downloading, it actually caused me to buy more physicals because I was hearing stuff that I wouldn't have had I not downloaded from around the world.

So yeah, polls may be a good overview, but it's not necessarily a true catch all. But you know that, so I don't know why I'm saying it, lol.

request: Blu-ray movie + Blu-ray bonus features + 2xCD soundtrack (4 discs) // at a decent price

And as much as I appreciate the STEEL artwork back story - it.just.doesn't.work.well.at.all

Not to mention the gun art repeated THREE times...wtf?

And I deeply hate myself for still thinking about it ....
