I have 80 plus from Filmarena....would like to get this....but no way at that price. I would feel stupid every time I looked at it. Seems most here are not getting it....do you think they will get the message? They must monitor this site & have to know of our outrage at their pricing. Hopefully they have tons unsold & will get back to reasonable prices. I have the U.K. version & will be happy with that.

I think that's the only way, leaving them with the complete stock.
But that's in an ideal world. There will always be people who buy it, no matter the price. And if they sell they think: "you see, the price increase doesn't matter, people want it".
If you want to "hurt" them you everyone should be in on it. Unfortunately I don't think this is going to happen.

Maybe an alternative could be publishing reviews on the front page of HDN. HDN has lots of readers, right? Companies don't like negative reviews.

Not sure where the wheels began to come off for me . . . . . Maybe it was the lack of the remaining Hunger Games, or the missing Terminators, the delayed and ultimately awful looking Fast and Furious box, King Kong missing in action . . . . The passing over of the film regulalry voted the greatest ever made: Citizen Kane in favour of the dolt who thinks life is like a box of chocolates - the tedious pretentiousness of Forrest Gump - which itself went missing, or perhaps The Expendables put the tin lid on their fate with another recycled, and particularly bad steel . . . . . . .

Ho hum, and they had such promise .. . . . .

I'm having a hard time understanding the people who picked the editions with the soundtrack

I don't even have CD drives anymore in my computers so what's the point?? Is this 1999 again? It's the digital age especially when it comes to music...I converted to completely digital music ages ago and having the soundtrack included drives the price up considerably. Not to be mean but have y'all never heard of Spotify/YouTube/SoundCloud/Pandora??? You can listen to the soundtrack for FREE online. Smh.

As far as the poll goes I selected the UHD + Blu-ray option as it's future proof but contains nothing I don't want/don't need.

I was really looking forward to this release but there's no way I'm gonna pay over 70 bucks for this.

I don't want CDs with a movie any more than I want a T-Shirt or underpants with a movie.
This is about the MOVIE.
Yes, there is music in the movie. There are also sound effects. Do we get a sound effects disc too?!
I won't get it if it has two CDs adding to the cost. It was bad enough with ONE useless DVD before.

IMO, it feels like they now rely on a loyal fanbase and are mainly doing it now for profits than the joy they initially started with. I found FA to be a bit of a bargain when I started buying them, 700CZK for Looper, or 806CZK for Birdman was great (and when the £ wasn't weak, even better!). Even though the flip-flop lentis have always been garbage. Now around 1000CZK for a release (example Hellboy in like-for-like package as the ones I mentioned) and no real improvements in quality, I can't justify going for any of them... (Unless it's a really cool WEA steel of a movie I love.)

I know it might not be a popular decision but I would hope they delay it and make a WEA with Rory Kurtz Artwork for the Steelbook and release a variant with the CD so that there is a choice if you want a CD in it on not?
Maniacs box could be pretty sweet.

It's absolutely redundant. There are only five visible "sides" of the package: 1) front of slip 2) back of slip 3) front of steel 4) back of steel 5) lenti magnet. Of those 5 surfaces, three are the same picture of the gun. It's so lazy.

100% agree! Get rid of half of the postcards/artcards, they're too much, sometimes I even worry that I can't get the steel to close properly again after I open it because they stuffed too many goodies inside
