Possibly my favourite trilogy of all time, and yet I'm not the least bit excited about these Zavvi steels... the artwork is really disappointing.

yes really disappointing, but i still like it, i want to get the movies on Blu-ray thought i'd buy the steelbooks.

I already have the old tin edition, but I've always wanted steelbooks for these films too... that flux capacitor edition is also very tempting though!

Prob the easiest art decision for any steelbook and they still screw it up. Just couldnt help themselves, had to Austin Powers this release. At least it isnt as bad as that, i ordered these they have some redeeming qualities but its just getting stupid at this point. Every release you have to hold your breath hoping it doesnt have garbage art and lately it comes out even worse than you thought. What is going on with steelbooks these days, collections started and then not finished, lifeless art, art that clashes with the movie, classic legendary art changed and hacked, etc... its almost like George Lucas is making the decisions in the steelbook world.

Well despite my disappointment, these arent completely worthless like Austin Powers so ill be able to get some satisfaction adding them to my collection but will still be hoping these movies get the grail releases they deserve.

Meh, I think I might wait for the eventual price drop on these. Other Universal steelbooks Zavvi has released this year were "sold out" and quite limited. American Graffiti at 2,500 copies, and Apollo 13 at 2,000 copies, each are back in stock and Graffiti has hit £7.99. The trilogy steel might be an exception. When that comes back, I might go for that.

it looks like they characters are trapped in an elevator on each steelbook, a real shame they didn't go for something like this.

oooh so these releases are trying to match the amaray art of the trilogy release, meh kinda lame that they wanted them to look the same. I might place and order, though I might just wait for other countries to start listing it.

I suspect the slip is what's putting these titles off to people. If we see them without the slips, I'm sure they will look good. All we're really moaning about here are the silver borders. The artwork is there. And the awesome logo is there too. It's Back to the Future people! Booyah!

several times i try contact zavvi, - they send me contact on their mother company ... but they was no reply ...

Artwork nothing to do with Zavvi
If you want different artwork for any Back to the Future releases you would need to contact Universal Pictures
These steelbooks will most likely be available in other countries as will the Amaray Blu Ray with exact same artwork
Artwork for Back to the future Steelbooks and Amaray Blu Ray/DVD and Box Sets is done by Universal Pictures
Content for each release is decided by each country Universal Pictures Distribution
Some Box Sets the content will differ between countries releases

Zavvi are only a Retailer who sell products supplied to them by Film Studios/Distributors with some releases been a UK exclusive
