I'm pretty sure they are distributed by Metrodome over in UK. Second Sight did the Texas Chainsaw Massacre seriously ultimate edition release

1982 its a cult classic. I have the American blu ray and for a film shot on 16mm it looks very nice. Much better than my old laser disc or dvd.

The term "classic" may be getting thrown around a little too fast and loose if we're calling Basket Case a classic.

I think the materials used to create a steelbook cost more then the production budget of this movie.

Excellent news, I only ever saw the 1st one, but for a low budget affair it wasn't bad ..

Never seen these but always remember seeing the DVD when I used to work in a DVD store, this will be my perfect excuse to see them.

With regards to the low rating on IMDB, no offence to anyone but the votes on that place mean jack sh*t to how good or bad a film is. People vote films down or up for no reason at all. One place where I don't go to for views on movies is IMDB
