- Batman + Batman Returns CMA#18: Having postponed the release of OUATIH CMA # 21, we have accelerated work on Batman which is very complex due to the two very delicate Collectible Boxes.
Over the next few days we will be able to indicate a more accurate date based on the times that will be confirmed by the supplier of the lenticular cards and the Boxes.

Ever since I paid for this on Feb. 1, 2020 I have rented a new car, moved to a different house, had a new nephew be born, thought I had Covid about 30 times, lost 25 pounds, wrote 9 short stories, saw about 300 movies, had the girlfriend yell at me about 250 times, went number 2 about 600 times, etc, etc, and this Batman still has not shipped.
Any update, anybody?

No, I think that excuse did have some meat on its bones for a while but now it has gone anorexic.
At least, we should get some updates on a more regular basis.

CM blew all your money on renovations. Now they need to collect more money from you guys for future releases to pay to manufacture the still unmade previous releases.

It's like a Ponzi scheme. When the end comes, the last few titles that CM announces will never be made but they will have collected the money.

Another 20+ releases were announced while 'The Pandemonio' was killing 99.8% of life in the world and Italy was on the verge to collapse and swallowed by the earth's core.........

I tend to agree in certain circumstances, (why Amazon 2 day prime is still taking 5 days, ??) - however there is more than enough evidence that manufacturing and supplies are having a very difficult time right now. This why you can't get a PS5 or a computer, and lumber costs twice as much. There are serious shortages going on in manufacturing. (Plastics, Metals, etc.)

I'm pretty sure that no generic steelbooks have been delayed in the past year and these are WWA steels that have been out since the end of 2019. I can maybe excuse them on the Goonies release since that is WEA (even though they probably have them stored away since they've released the steel only edition for that)
A 10 month delay since their initial release date for just adding slips and goodies is no excuse really. They're just a really badly organised company.

While some of what you say is true, the defense of CM using generalities and assumptions can only get you so far. They had a sketchy name in trading groups long before CM. They had countless problems before the pandemic. He consistently bites off more than he can chew, attacks critics, threatens with lawyers, doesn’t meet deadlines and has been called out for stealing art by artists. Hardly worth defending.
