Amazon.JP is a completely different format and you need to create a seperate account with them but yes, they do ship internationaly.

I'm glad that I'm new to collecting SBs, so I have a choice of what's out there. The double dips may come, but hopefully not for a couple years, and I may not care about SBs by then. Wait, what am I saying?

I did set up a new account for Amazon. But I will not order as it came to 96.50 shipped for both titles. They are beautiful, but I can not see paying 50 bucks a pop for an older movie.

Another member wanted to order these as well, so I figured that would save in shipping, so I would be able to get after all. WRONG after changing order to 4 total, it gave me an error message stating that the maximum quanity to order on this title is 1. They would not let me order 2 of each.

I believe that someone pointed out on one of these Japanese releases threads that you could only order one of each. Only after I had a total of five different ones was the shipping more balanced out. If you order less than five your going to get killed by the shipping costs. I believe five came out to somewhere in the neighborhood of $210 after shipping. When I had just one in the cart, the shipping was almost as much as the SteelBook itself. So you should order at the least five to get ahead of the shipping cost. I want to try and order all ten of them but don't know if I'll have enough to do that in one lump purchase.

5 steels for 210!? 42 per steel is pretty steep.. But the tough decision is living without a steel of Seven or not!

Sell that sucker! Lesson learned. Use the search function at the top of the page at Blu-ray.com and include steel in your search and it'll show you what's available. I also like to watch the unboxing videos at youtube and go into the Blu-ray.com forum and limit my search to thread title only.

I have yet to buy one I did not prefer to all others (except Star Trek because I did not think Canada was coming my way anytime soon and Germany was nice too).

Thanks to Wreck, I created yet another account to order 2 BBs and 2 TDKs by slightly changing my first name just in case heh. Just hope they don't catch it when shipping to the same address (if they even care). BTW, how does one check to see how many are left in stock in amazon?

i realise this may not solve your problem, but the netherlands metalpak for seven is worth considering as an alternative.
it's a nice one!!
