Think it will just depend on the preference of the individual. Some never keep steels sealed some never open them.
I am 50/50 if I do not need to open them I will not.

Hell yeah I'm gonna open mine. There too pretty not to. Would you want those pure soft whites with awesome artwork hidden behind some stickers and cellophane? They're going to be just like the French edition of The Thing, too beautiful to hide.

the steelbook is designed to accommodate the Japanese Market mainly.
I think it should be no more than 8000.

I would have to agree and therefore say no more then 5000

That is one sexy looking mofo of a steelbook!!!

Just been wandering around amz.jp adding 5 titles (similarly designed sexy whites) to my basket to see what the damage would be if I had the balls to actually order them... turns out that it'd be a shade over £130 for this one, TDK, The Matrix, Blade Runner and Se7en.

Very tempting as they all look so good... but I do quite like having my testicles still attached to my body rather than being hacked off by The Wife with a blunt knife.

USA release of Iron Man 2 Target was set to 30,000

Maybe someone has some first hand knowledge. It does say 'Limited' on the Steelbook listing, so I don't think there would be anywhere near 30,000 of these. Maybe not even 10,000.

I can only assume that these will be the same amount of Run

I do hope that they have that nice Japaneese Backer Cards thow

but , these are quite a bit cheaper than the last 4 steelz so I am at a loss with this wave

Iron Man 2 was not manufactured by Scanavo though. Scarface is a better example, but that was a worldwide release, whereas, these Japanese steelbooks are limited to Japan (with limits to one per order). I don't think they are going to run up as high as 30,000 or more.

I resisted the Matrix as I have the boxset, plus my wallet was telling me to stop adding to cart. I did consider Inception to put inside the Briefcase packaging I currently have.

I'm loving my Steelbooks, got about 45 already and can't stop myself preordering them now

The best thing is since they are white, no worries about scratches. You won't see them.

I just hope they are subsidizing these ones to make a push into the steelbook market. I hope they end up being as high a quality as Knight and Day and A-team.

I'm pretty sure they are amazon.jp exclusives. Well, they have inside art, so the question is, will they be embossed/debossed and what type of finish? My hunch is we won't be let down

They are gonna be nice I am sure of that. I would bet my money on it. Actually when I think about it, I did bet my money on it.

Seriously-I am pretty sure these are exclusive-I think anytime Amazon JP puts the store name in the title of the item, they only appear there.
