It cost me 2600 yen shipped for 3 steels from Japan to the US which comes out to be around $32.63 USD. By far the most I have paid for international shipping for this size.

Do you guys think amz.co.jp will release more steelbooks with the cover art from Germany/France's Premium Collection Digibooks, as they did with these?

picked my copy up along with the dark knight from a seller on ebay when they were first released for £82.50 for the pair, delivered.
worth it for me, as i didn't have to deal with couriers (a pain!!), plus it eliminated any concerns regarding returns, as the items would only have been returned to the seller in the UK if damaged.

My apologies to anyone that might have thought that my original post was bitter or angry about the Japan vs. Canadian steelbook debate. It was not meant to be. I noticed that I hit the angry face button by mistake on my phone, which is now fixed, so I can see why someone would have thought that. I just wanted to let you guys know.

I just got my order today. I purchased on 6/8/12 and it arrived today 6/11/12. Talk about super duper fast delivery. All I can say is that Amazon.jp definitely packages steelbooks like no other. Large box with the steelbooks vacuum sealed to a a large piece of cardboard. I thought the steelbooks came in perfect condition but upon further examination my dark knight was dented along the side of the steelbook . It looks like it was already dented before the steelbook was vacuum sealed, so it was definitely not the packaging. Here are some pictures of the good and the bad.

Email them, they should offer you a refund and then you can re-purchase. The downside... expensive postage for just one steel. This is what they offered me for a damaged Dark Knight.

if japan doesnt release the dark knight rises in the same style i will be fair sad, and probably just look for a trilogy set and sell the two steels.

What is this worth on the market? Im seeing people trying to charge 150 bucks for it on ebay, that seems like a bit to me.

To me also today the shipment was delivered with TDK, Matrix and Blade Runner (BB, Se7en, Inception and Gran Torino I bought two months ago already). Have not yet had the package in my hands until I get back from work, only have hope that all steelbooks will be in mint condition
I'm sorry that your TDK arrived damaged but if you send e-mail to customer service then amazon will send you a replacement of this for sure

I received my Batman Begins and The Dark Knight today in the same type of packaging as SpeedMasterLee and although the box arrived in a bit of a state the steelbooks inside were in perfect condition
