Got mine yesterday, had the small indent in the bottom corner. Not very noticable but still annoying.

If your copy is dented under the blue sticker then the sticker machine is deffo faulty.

I went to all the Future Shops and HMVs in Edmonton they all had the defect. Has anyone had any luck getting the dent out?

The indentation is easy to remove. Take off the plate then gently rub with a soft lead pencil. Voila it's gone.

Please explain with a little more detail. I've gotten the cover off before when I was making one good steelbook from two dented ones. What part of the pencil do I use? Rub like using an eraser? Any advice on edge dings? Thanks in advance blu-ray surgeon.

I've never tried the pencil trick, but I've taken a very soft cloth and put it on top of hard surface like a kitchen table or something.

Then I take a hard plastic spoon and gently compress the spoon where the defect is to push it out. It's not 100%, but it does reduce the defect quite well.

I've never had any luck with damage to the edges - those are tough ones.

Sorry to bump such an old thread , but I got Batman Begins and The Dark Knight at the Real Canadian Superstore for $17:99 each. I wasn't going to get these two as I have too many double dips already , but at the price I broke down

I'm fighting with the decision to pick one of these up along with The Dark Knight steelbook and then purchase the third film when (hopefully) that comes out in steelbook...

OR

purchase that sweet looking black French release steelbook with both films. Opinions?

personally, I like the french, but others like the Canada
