its a matte finish but a well done one with a shine to it. The artwork on this is spectacular, especially the back art. My one complaint is the damn DC logo on the bottom front left side. Besides that though, i think its a win

Check the target thread for pics. Since the releases haven't been confirmed to be the same, the edition I got is the American one (knowing wb though it should be the same)
