It's a shame the UK version doesn't come with the comic book. I would trade the figurine for it any day of the week.

To be honest, the animation doesn't look that good in trailers, I myself have low expectations and am just waiting for Mark Hamill's performance.

As for the steelbook, love the frontside, don't like the backside.

agree. totally. animation looks plain awful at times.

Even Bruce Timm wasn't happy with the trailer.

While recent DC titles have had slightly sparse background animation, and missing frames with the moving images they've never been that bad. If anything, it's been the stories and characterizations of the characters that have let most of them down.

Back to the original point though, Timm said the animation had been slowed down for certain scenes of the trailer and as such, the frame-rate just doesn't work at the slower speed. He's said it looks fine in the finished movie (or as fine as it ever does I imagine) which I'm inclined to agree with.

I wish they would had followed the comic book with the colouring especially if their intention was to stay loyal to the comic book, at least that way the poor animation wouldn't bother so much, that redrawn version looks fantastic in some scenes.

While I like the art style, I feel like the adaptation is true to animated Batman.

Was going to grab one in case Target waffled on my online order. Sold out again. Oh well!
