“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” Ultimate Edition will have new bonus features including an extended version of Zach Snyder’s film for the first time. Data will include in 4K Blu-ray 100GB triple-layer format.

Warner Bros. planned to utilize the high capacity of the first major studio for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” Ultimate Edition home release to pack all the movies in one set. This will be considered the first among the major studios to launch something in large capacity to fit the longer version of Zack Snyder’s film reaching more than two hours.

The two-disc set will feature the regular theatrical version of the movie and more than 2-hour supplemental material. This included “Uniting the World’s Finest,” “Gods and Men: A Meeting of Giants,” “The Warrior,” “The Myth,” “The Wonder,” “Accelerating Design: The New Batmobile” and “Superman: Complexity & Truth.” They also have “Batman: Austerity & Rage,” “Wonder Woman: Grace & Power,” “Batcave: Legacy of the Lair,” “The Might and the Power of a Punch,” “The Empire of Luthor” and “Save the Bats.”

We were promised a 4K disc for Mad Max Fury Road but they changed their minds ... I think it's time to start giving us 4K disc + Bluray ... instead of Bluray + DVD. I'll be picking up a 4K bluray player in the christmas sales this year.

4K no for me at the moment and not until a few years when 4K TV'S and 4K Blu-ray players drop in price a lot
Steelbooks with 4K are a long way off most customers don't have a 4K Blu-ray Player never mind a 4K TV

Most customers at the moment don't have the equipment to play 4K Blu-ray Discs
In a few years when 4K Blu-ray players are cheaper and in most homes that is when steelbook with 4K Blu-ray discs will be a good idea

No need for 4K Blu-ray Steelbooks at the moment

I used to be an early adopter for ages but not anymore. Going to take at least a year or two for 4K equipment to become affordable and the format to stabilise.

This release would be 3 Blu-ray Discs most likely not include a DVD and if it did include a DVD it would be 4 Discs
