This release would be 3 Blu-ray Discs most likely not include a DVD and if it did include a DVD it would be 4 Discs

3D Blu-ray release is 3 Discs

3D Blu-ray Theatrical Cut
2D Blu-ray Ultimate Edition Cut
2D Blu-ray Theatrical Cut

Thanks for the info. I was kind of ranting in general about the blu-ray+dvd thing ;)

All those saying 4K won't be mainstream until another couple of years ... so you're essentially saying you want to re-buy the film again when it's re-released in 4K when Justice League comes out ... :D Sod that, I want the 4K disc now, in this release. Future proof my collection if I can. I don't like double dipping.

4K Blu-ray releases at the moment don't include the 3D Discs in the releases so that alone would turn lot of collectors off

If you want 3D Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray release you have to purchase both separately

I don't know where you buy your TVs but here in Spain 4K tvs are the same price as fullhd already. In fact I bought a 55inch 4K 3D LG TV a couple of weeks hago for 825€. I wouldn't say that is expensive.

4K players are expensive though. But with the new consoles having 4K player capabilities I think they'll drive the prices down faster

I think you misunderstood. Yes, 4K TVs are similar priced as 1080p TVs here too, but what i meant was 4K TVs that are capable of 3D are much costlier plus are harder to find. Not all 4K TVs can display 3D content since it's not a requirement :)

Well I don't really (personally) care for 3D and it seems it's clearly om the way out so I'm not that sure finding a 4K 3D tv is gonna get easier in the future :/

Hey Paul here is the first 4K UHD 3D/2D combo.

Correct Japan only so far
I'm sure at a later time more 4K releases will include 3D but at the moment in UK/USA/Europe don't include the 3D disc with 4K Blu-ray and with some TV manufactures like Samsung and LG phasing out 3D ability in future 4K TV's that will impact the 4K/3D combo releases
