Rather dull, matte finish. It should have been glossy.

In for the GB but movie itself not getting great reviews, the DC animations continue on their downward spiral unfortunately
My wife needed the car for a Dr appointment today so I was on my bike (I don't mind my bike for Best Buy releases but Target releases have me running late) and I got a flar on the way in. Changed it real quick and got there a little after 8 worried they would be all gone but the other local collector in my area had already had them go to the back to get them as they had none on the shelf when he got there. My store only got 4. I couldn't get forrest gumps voice out of my head "I only caught 4.:
Store had "about 5. They didn't even stock them, I had to ask the clerk at electronics. They kept all of them at that register. You might get lucky by asking.
I would prefer to have BB or Walmart have these exclusives. They are more timely in processing and shipping out online orders. Target have not even shipped my order yet that was placed months ago.
Alright boys here's the breakdown:

*1/3 have mis-aligned spines
*minimal pain chips, have to look very closely
*loose disks
Other than those factory flaws, this looks like a clean matte finish. Similar style, detail and metallic sheen as SON OF BATMAN. Only not glossy. This is a great companion for the SOB steel.

rolled into Target at 9:10 and apparently they were already sold out. When I asked the kid behind the counter at Electronics I got a "Sorry, there was a line this morning."
I honestly find it hard to believe there was a "line" for this movie, regardless of it being a Steelbook. LOL.

My store had 7 at 8am. I was the only one shopping for them. Most looked in good shape to me. I snagged a mint one.
This is my experience at the moment as well, not sure what's happening...usually Target ships my order out the Friday before release day.
Walmart has been shipping the day it is out.
Got the lone copy @ one Target location and some @ another location

Yeah that has been my experience. What annoys me even more is the fact that they never seem to have adequate amounts allocated to stores. Makes for an all round frustrating experience for their customers
Tried 2 targets and no luck. Decided just to spend the extra $8 on an ebay copy rather than trying to hunt down a copy at the further Targets.
It is quite interesting that this appears to be very limited in quantity. Congratulations to those who were able to secure a copy!
Picked mine up Thursday night and the store still had about a dozen of them. It is a nice looking steel that goes well with the other Target DC animated steelbooks. Seems to have a better / thicker gauge of steel than the last couple also.
hey everyone - for those of you that placed an online order and haven't received your items yet - I asked @Wreck for an assist and he reached out behind the scenes to our contacts and they have indicated that orders haven't been shipped out due to a technical reason, but this has now been resolved.
you should expect to see a ship notice soon, and should receive any copies ordered online in a week or so. you should also be able to now contact customer support (guest services) and they should also be able to speak directly about this item and any further trouble you might encounter.
