This movie wasn't in English - that's also what makes it more underground and in my opinion, more interesting.

The Hunger Games is the cheap rip-off of this movie.

Battle Royale 2 is pure crap.... Part 1 is the instant classic.... Glad i held out so long, still have the limited dvd release, but this will definitely be part of my collection....

Battle Royale = Action, Blood, Brutal whereas The Hunger Games = rip-off, disney-feel and in my opinion a so-so movie.

Would really like to see how that emboss/deboss turns out to be!

If they really wanted to appeal to SB collectors of every stripe, they'd be wise to start making their releases region free. Arrow seems to be putting out some awesome titles, but they're all region 2 locked.:-(

It's not as simple as making them region free though. Often the rights are held by different distributors in different countries therefore they region lock the title to their own specific region. I'm sure companies like Arrow and Eureka would have no problem releasing them region free if they were able to do so.
