This is on the lower right corner of the front cover. It's clearly a manufacturing defect, as I've seen it on other steelbooks on the front and back, most recently, UK Shawshank. Do you guys see this on your copies? It's basically a small hairline indentation on the edges. It kind of bothers me.

Sorry for the bump but I was just about to put this on and decided to look it up and I can't believe it's only been a year since this was released there has been so many releases this year it feels like this was released years ago. So much has changed this year, still one of my favourite steels.

This is selling on ebay for £11.49 with free shipping... That's cheaper than buying from play.com...
It's a shame this is selling so cheap now, it's one of the very few steels that are both well-made and packed with extras.

Totally agree, I've bought this as an xmas present for a friend who has no interest in SB but I know he'll love this because it's such a great release, brilliant steel, 3 discs and a booklet.. ( picked it up for £8.90 sealed) wish they all came with extras like this one. Couple of months ago I showed this SB to my niece and she immediately went online and bought herself a copy..think i may have started an addiction lol:D

I think Arrow are the forefront in the UK for SB releases. They usually have fresh artwork and are packed with extras. Battle Royale is a stunner especially with its debossing (the one criticism I'd have with Arrow is the lack of debossing/embossing on their releases). Zombie Flesh Eaters is another excellent example.

True, when you compare it to many many of the other steels coming out (re-releases and new) you notice the quality of this one.

easily in my top5 steels and a nice example that quality doesn't need to be expensive. would take this anytime over these so called grails :)

:hilarious: lol.. I thought about telling her to join this forum, then thought her 3 kids may starve if she get addicted like I have.EEK!

I think arrows releases are usually very good (big trouble looks amazing on my shelf, really stands out, keep trying to forget about how much the back lets it down).. this steelbook (Battle Royale) was one of my early purchases so it was definitely a big part of why I got into and love SB collecting, I often get it off the shelf and look at it:D

Decided to take mine out of the drawer and have a look at it.
It does look very nice!

For anyone that missed out on the Blu-Ray boxset, this is probably the best alternative.

I had the dvd special ed box set but sold it after I picked up this SB.. still wanna pick up the special edition blu ray boxset tho, as I miss having all the postcard and other extras :(

Just out of curiosity, do you keep all your steelbook's in draws?
