I did the same but I'm getting around this by only doing pre-orders for new titles.
This is really freakin nuts. I have never had a problem with Zavvi until now. I ordered BEAUTY AND THE BEAST the moment it went live. No problem. When members started getting their copies I kept checking the site and Zavvi just said "Awaiting Stock Pick" for mine. I eventually emailed them and said "everybody is getting theirs, where is mine?" Eventually, I got an email back assuring me that I am listed as being shipped on Dec. 31.
O.K.
In the meantime, I get that wonderful email apologizing for not getting it yet.
Then on Dec. 29, Zavvi goes live with BEAUTY AND THE BEAST again (with what I'm told is 300 copies).
I'm not playing games with this title- so I order AGAIN. No problem. Now I have ordered twice.
I have now received today, that apologetic email about not receiving my copies for the NEWER order!!
This is nuts. I not only doubled down, I ordered both times cleanly, with no problems or hiccups.
In my experience- one time that 'apologetic' email led to an outright cancellation a month and a half later.
Another time it eventually arrived. So I have no idea what the hell is going on. And that email form letter is weirdly worded to apologize for the item both a) not ever coming and b) maybe coming.
Just frustrating.

Good old CEX! When you absolutely, positively have to sell every last steelbook in your collection, accept no substitute...Someone must have been after a quick buck if they wanted traded it in for less than they psid for it
