I have to say that would be a nice cover if that's what we're getting. Hopefully we find out soon.

I think there's no chance of that being the artwork, unfortunately. It simply doesn't match the recent Zavvi/Disney releases, that had a more standard, even childish, look. I'm one for more artistic artworks, as seen on this image and on the cover of The Little Mermaid steel, but maybe Disney thought it to be too 'abstract', aesthetically straying too much from their iconic characters representations.

Found this on some German site. Probably just a placeholder pic, but this is the art I'm praying for! SO classy! It would look wonderful as a steel!View attachment 96904

This would be great! I think this was used on the French special edition (if I remember correctly). Disney has avoided those more artful poster designes until now, so I would be really surprised if they went along with this one. But since they are shutting down the collection once and for all, maybe taking a risk wouldn't hurt?

A Beauty and the Beast Limited run steelbook will sell out first day, no matter the artwork. Next to The Lion King (And now Frozen) it is their most popular and sought after Classic, so it won't be a problem. This artwork would fit nicely with the classic look of The Little Mermaid! I wish the Aladdin steel had the iconic lamp poster look. We'll see. Beauty and the Beast seems to be one of those animated classics with a huge grown-up following.

I never ended up getting the (CA/USA) ironpack. Was not a huge fan. Really looking forward to see the artwork. The fact this also has 3D will make this extremely appealing to a lot of people that couldn't get their hands on the standard blu-ray 3D limited release. I did get a hold of that and it is fantastic. Love the 3D, this is definitely not a zavvi steel to miss.

The standard US 3D blu-ray release goes for $85+ new on eBay. I have the CA & US Ironpaks, they are far better in hand, but no 3D. If this artwork doesn't beat out the exceptional offering from US/CA, I'm still gonna get it (especially with the price being less than half the going rate for a new US amaray). I hope the artwork is somewhat different though.

The 3D is stellar in this.
They did an incredible job.

I have to agree. I stand by the fact this is the best rendered 3D BluRay ive ever seen.

Oz the Great & Powerful takes silver medal. The 3D is spot-on!

Always disappointing when 10 minutes in you forget you're watching in 3D... I like to be visually reminded in great awe that im watching a 3D movie haha :D
