Bedknobs and Broomsticks (Blu-ray SteelBook) (Zavvi Exclusive) [UK]

Haven't received either yet so the question is moot.
Maybe tomorrow, fingers crossed, as they were posted on the 9th along with "Terminator Genisys' and "Don't Look Now".
EDIT 11/11: Received my copy today and very nice it is too
Slightly less vibrant than the usual Disney steelbook - so much so that I had this down as a matte and not a gloss finish (but maybe that's because of the slightly old-fashioned look with the period clothing and the period bed/bedding ?)
De-bossed title in rich gold with flecks of red looks good as does the spot glossing on the brass bedstead which really catches the light.
The de-bossed moon is a nice touch too and helps to push the classic image forward.

I'm so disappointed on how dark this is in hand compared to the mock up. And also the inside art is a terrible choice.
This could of been really vibrant but no.

Princess and the frog turned out darker too , not received mine yet but it looks all fine and dandy , kiddies Xmas present so won't be watching it till then
Yeah that was a shame too but I think princess looks much better than this. Brother bear was out the same time and that was amazingly vibrant
I think my camera settings are not quite right. . It is a little brighter in hand

Oh I'm still glad I got it and also been waiting for this for a while (I'll get all the Disney collection anyway lol)
But like a few in the collection that could of been a bit better (like the early matte steels, the back of hunchback and the back of Tarzan)
It could of just been a bit more brighter the same as princess.
It's mainly the bottom of the front, the animated characters are quite dark and I can barely see the crocodile on mine.
Mine also has a scratch on the back so I'm going to send it back for a replacement anyway (I've had some before that are darker like brave - had 3 versions at one point becuase they kept turning up damaged and on 2 of them the paint was much darker so I kept the brighter one. Also happened with me and Peter Pan
Well I'm just glad that we in the UK are getting them and it's nice for once that we are getting exclusives instead of having to order from other countries. Nice when it happens. Building into a lovely collection the likes of which I don't think we'll see again

- Music Magic: The Sherman Brothers (SD, 21 minutes): Well, this is interesting. And irritating. The Blu-ray edition of Bedknobs and Broomsticks does not include the reconstructed, 139-minute extended version of the film first released on DVD in 2001. It does, however, include "Music Magic," a featurette with Richard and Robert Sherman, restoration expert Scott McQueen and actress Angela Lansbury singing the praises of a cut... that isn't on the disc. It's a strange, almost insulting oversight, and one that makes the disappointment surrounding the missing reconstructed version sting that much more.
- Deleted and Extended Songs (HD, 24 minutes): Deleted songs include "A Step in the Right Direction," "With a Flair" and "Nobody's Problems." Extended songs include "Eglantine" and "Portobello Road."
- Deleted and Extended Scenes (HD, 10 minutes): "Captain Greer," "Ulterior Motives," "The First Supper," "Letter from Professor Browne," "Extortion," "Traveling Spell," "Substitutiary Locomotion" and "Matchmaker."
- David Tomlinson Recording Session (SD, 1 minute): In this April 1970 recording session, David Tomlinson sings the ending of "Portobello Road" to a pre-recorded orchestra playback.
- Disney Song Selection (HD, 21 minutes): Songs include "The Old Home Guard," "The Age of Not Believing," "Eglantine," "Portobello Road," "The Beautiful Briny" and "Substituiary Locomotion." Users can also watch the film with on-screen lyrics.
- The Wizards of Special Effects (SD, 8 minutes): Wizards of Waverly Place star Jennifer Stone compares special effects circa Bedknobs and Broomsticks to those used in the Disney Channel series.
- Theatrical Trailers (SD, 9 minutes): Four trailers round out the supplemental package.
