Quite rude to ask for 20 pounds now when it was originally for sale at 15

Mars Attacks! has kept it's price

I mentioned this in the Mars Attacks thread. I really expected that to go up a fiver also. Glad I did actually manage to get my Beetlejuice order in the first time round, although I've spent more than £20 on a steel several times. Strange to up the price of one but not the other.

zavvi have put up the price to £20 from the original £15.

Thats pretty low move to those who cldnt order b4 :movie:

Yeah it's pretty rude, but it beats buying it off the bay for £30+ in a month or so. Plus I got it for £6.49 thanks to zavvi points. Stoked!

Whoa £20 now. I feel sorry for anyone who has to order it at that price.

Ive got to say, that is quite sneeky on zavvi's behalf. I suppose its up to them what they do if they know that people will pay it.

I think it's probably just another silly Zavvi error. The listing has stated £19.99 for quite a while now, so I don't think they have purposely increased the price just for these cancellations.

I don't like the way they put up the cancellations before the release date when they don't hold copies back for damages. It means anyone who orders a single copy and it arrives damaged is out of luck. At least if they put them up next week, anyone with a damaged copy would get another chance.

If they do not hold back any stock at all then I totally agree with you - That's BS

Yeah, perhaps for those in the UK and surrounding area.

However, Zavvi has plenty of international orders, where short timing isn't such a convenience for us.
