I already have the lavish US Collector's Edition, as well as the UK Steelbook with the original poster art. However, I have no problem with triple dipping for this greatest of the great epic movies, and have already placed my order with Amazon (France). I just hope that they don't alter the artwork.

The remake, due this Summer, has a lot to live up to. I fear that it will prove to be little more than a pale imitation of this much revered classic of the silver screen.

I have quite a few versions of this one too myself, I'm trying to cut back a bit on collecting but it's looking doubtful on this one.

Yeah I doubt the latest remake will live up to Ben Hur 1959, which still remains an epic and colossus movie, Charlton Heston was tremendous as Ben-Hur and there were numerous top performances, hope the remake is good at least. In a way it will bring more attention to the classic and other movie fans may see the classic and as the existing fans we can carry on appreciating the classic .
