Am I the only person who notices the different feel in certain steels?

Like there is the matte that WB CA uses, and then there is a different smooth like matte that I've seen on some German steels.

I love how Grindhouse feels.

Not bluray steelbooks, but I have to hand it down to 2 steels:

1) Crysis 2 Nano Edition from France, feels like rubbing the skin of a snake, but not in a bad way. Just awesome! And anyone who owns it pretty much agrees.

2) Uncharted 3! Mat finish but the texture of the steelbook is nothing like anything else I've encountered. And it looks awesome as well!

Don't know about favorite but did get 'Kampf Der Titanen-Clash of the Titans' in the post today and the crackle effect is certainly 'different'

The nano gets my vote too - perfect steelbook material for me - they should do steels for the spider man serie with a similar effect - would be awesome

See, I hate glossy ones cause I'm a freak when it comes to those that leave fingerprints or smudges on them ... I cant enjoy them as much lol. ps. I hate the glossy ones in the sense of fingerprints but I prefer them to the regular matte steels in general as I'm not a huge fan but some of those gloss like matte ones they use like in Grindhouse are totally awesome.

That UC3 if you're talking about the debossed one that is gloss like crazy, not matte.

I like the Transformers DOTM steel. Matte background and the transformers are glossy and it feels nice and solid.
