I'll still keep my pre-order.It's a great film.Bit disappointed with the delay but my wallet isn't :)

I agree the film is awesome  Just got tired of the constant barrage of catalogue releases so mostly getting only new movies now. My wallet and wife is much happier that way. Certain catalogue releases will always catch my eye like Kimichi Disneys and blufans plus odd one here and there.

If it's a film you love, why wouldn't you grab the Steelbook? I know you don't like Zavvi, but you may aswell take advantage of the things they offer that you would actually enjoy rather than trying to stick to a principal that doesn't really affect Zavvi that much.

I can see where your coming from about catalogue releases.Too many releases has taken the shine off collecting for me.Although if it's a classic like this, which i surprisingly don't own on blu, then count me in.

First and foremost, I do not dislike Zavvi. I do however dislike the flooding of steelbooks they are doing. I have defended things like their 99p international shipping and also made purchases from them so this notion that I dislike the retailer because I am critical of releases is uncalled for.

Secondly, the US amaray only cost $10. It too is a stinking :hilarious: single disc release. So should I spend around $23 to get a steel that really doesn't provide any upgrades? After much thought, the answer was NO for now. Could this become more appealing in the future....maybe. But I am also of the opinion that not every movie deserves a steel and despite my initial interest in this I will pass on this as I do catalogue releases from DE and FR.

well just pre-ordered it film i remember buying on vhs so showing my age here.
one thing zavvi have got plastered all over it is "limited edition" now for some strange reason zavvi don't ever seem to list how many the run is on various limited editions.

it would be nice if in there descriptions that had to put the amount the run is so people where aware they do it on play on some i have bought why can't zavvi?

anyway back to question anyone know how many it is on this occasion at all?

cheers
