Hey, anyone who has watched the discs: Has anyone else notice a peculiar alteration in the 2D film? The 2D presentation alters the brother Tadashi's name to "Teddy Armada". Even the voice actors altered their dialogue and any writings of his name is changed to reflect that. I guess it was altered for Asian audiences which is ironic because Tadashi is an Asian/Japanese name. However, the 3D presentation remains the same as I watched in US theaters.

Yep, that's not uncommon with Disney movies. They are sometimes localised.

I would say the movie was ironically de-localised because it was changed from the Asian-sounding name Tadashi to the American-sounding name Teddy. It just sounded wierd hearing Hiro yell "TEDDY!" after the explosion.
