They did not charge you at the pre order price promise
Your price should have been £12.44 GBP with no vat
£12.44 GBP + Vat 20% = £2.48 = £14.92
My order is still showing Preparing for Dispatch since Saturday
That's the last time I will be ordering any Arrow Steelbooks from amazon
All future Arrow Steelbooks I will order direct from Arrow Video
Amazon usually were good but in recent months Amazon UK dispatch and delivery service as got worse compared to previous was very good

I got mine today, very happy, until I opened the cardboard envelope.
This is the second steelbook that arrives damaged in one month, the other being sent in an cardboard envelope by amazon.fr
I think not buy steelbook from amazon if other retailers are also offering.

This is the way amazon is shipping stuff now. Its a good kick in the ass to us collectors. I really am thinking about boycotting amazon from now on unless its an exclusive.
Just wait until you get one sent with no packaging. They just tape that customs sticker right onto the steelbook. Unbelievable!!!!

WTF?!?! Is this how amazon package their steelbooks? I'm thinking of cancelling all my pre-order with them if they are.
the one pictured must have slipped through, usually amazon send steelbooks in bomb proof packaging... ie specially made boxes for steelbooks that are very good. only problem is they are so big they dont fit through the letter box, so if you arent in its likely it will be returned to the sorting office :/

I told them not to use Royal Mail under any circumstances and only use An Post
Carrier Should have been An Post for Rep Of Ireland 2/3 Days Delivery from UK
90% of previous orders have been An Post
Estimated delivery Date 27th December
not a chance of that with Royal Mail very slow service to Rep Of Ireland sometimes sits in a UK hub going nowhere
I wont have this until at least 30th Dec more likely New Year Jan 2nd/3rd/6th

If they had of used An post Today I would have got it Thur/Fri or Mon at the latest
and if they had of originally dispatched on Sat or Sun by An Post as it was supposed to be I would of had it by Tomorrow
Amazon will be get a strong complaint from me and if i don't get a satisfactory apology and something to make up for this they will they may loose future orders from me and will only order if not available from somewhere else even it cost more
I can understand delays but to ignore my request to only use An Post is not good

Got my copy today from Amazon as well and like ariba266 it was in an A4 mailer Suffice to say it had to be sent back for a replacement as it was damaged. If the replacement is the same I'll just go get one at HMV, sod having to deal with this.

May mark a disturbing change in policy...
My Big Trouble showed up in a small very slim box, inside held in place with shrink wrap type plastic, wondered if it was maybe a new Steelbook packaging. My Conan showed up in one of those basic card envelopes and was damaged, so it was returned, and the replacement arrived in the larger solid-as-a-rock box they normally use. So it can vary, but in my experience they nearly always arrive in the proper Steelbook packaging.
Got a steel from Amazon.de today. It was double boxed and totally mint. Seems like they are taking extra effort to get our stuff undamaged to us yanks over here.

On a better note, they automatically only charged me the lowest price of £14.92. Just got refunded £1.50 without having to do anything.
I like to spread out my discounts! I used that '5 off' discount on Gravity 3D
