Just watched this movie last night. Not a movie I wanna double dip. Already have the beautiful gatefold slipcover. Looks like I'll be passing on this.

this makes me mad and thats way i'm posting in reference to GB'S, no body is obligated to jump on these, son stop complaining and wait til the end result , suck it up if you regret it not being in later on and get it from ebay at astronomical prices.....to me is a privilege that someone helps us to get something otherwise we can not have and even if that means some profit for some i dint care, i think they deserve it!...AND THATS THAT! maybe someday i will b able to afford to go to Prague and visit Filmarena personally the day they have a release exclusive, but for now thank you guys that make possible to have these fantastic editions...you know who you are!

I agree that group buys should not be approved until certain things are confirmed for example package details or price unless there is an option to withdraw from the group buy. It may be that Karel has to run the group buys on Film Arena's terms but it doesn't make it right.



It is true but there are some who benefit from these group buys in another way, namely Film Arena and HDN, therefore there should be some obligation to make group buys as favourable to members as possible.



The difference is with most retailers you can cancel your order if you change your mind.

Yes but you have the choice of not joining the group buys before you see the final product. That is your choice. And if by that time there sold out and you regret it that's on you. To be able to bring these group buys. Carl prob had to commit to a certain amount that he cannot cancel. like you said you can cancel if ordered through some other retailers however that is ordering direct. This is not direct and hence if you say you want it then you are obliged to get it. its like you made a deal with your friend and hen decided you didn't want it after he already picked it up for you ms used his money for it. So if you don't like the way it is don't join them. And order direct

The majority of members may be happy with the way things work now but companies should always be striving to improve the service they offer. I don't think anyone can deny that if the beauty shot and price were revealed before the group buy opened it would be better.

Of course HDN and FilmArena benefit. Things aren't free.
And if this was not available to us, do you have any doubt these would sell JUST FINE on the market without our GBs? It is a privelege.
