Still newish to the hobby, but why does everyone like lentis so much? I much prefer fullslips because of the cleaner look and will almost always go for that over lentis.

I dont think 'everyone' prefers lenti slips. Otherwose no company would make full or quarter slips ever.
I like a good lenti, when done well the effect can be very impressive, looks good on the shelf.
But its also movie dependant. All the marvel movies I got lenti slips. But something like schindlers list, gangs of new york, Logan I've got as full slips as I think they suit a more simple clean finish. Not so showy!

Not impressed with the pictures. Lentis look to be blurry and pixelated. Hopefully it’s just a photo problem

I will always prefer a good fullslip. Holding a great fullslip in hand is just so much nicer than lenti in my opinion.. A lenti looks great on a shelf though if I stand +/- 2 meters away from it, and my Blade Runner 2049 hdzeta SL and Interstellar hdzeta SL are among my favorite editions in my collection. They look insanely good on the shelf. But if I hold them in hand they just don't look as good as some fullslips..

I like a good mixture of both types. Sometimes I am really tuned into full slips and other times I lose myself in lentis. It depends where my collector's schizophrenia takes me.

DL seems blurry while SL seems better. I normally wouldn't trust such pictures but the full slip seems pretty clean.
I'll still love it, no matter what. Like a father loves a not-so-beautiful son ahah

Yeah they ain’t looking great in those Pics but then those pics are pretty crappy anyway.
I’m hoping it’s just the pictures but that full slip looks a little pale compared to the mock ups. Nice finish tho on the FS images behind the birds of prey that you can’t see in the mock up. Hidden with spot gloss

A conversation was raised not too long back about slip types and I still think more Full Slips, or at least mixing it up a bit upon each release, would be a nice change rather than the same format each time. If it isn't well received then just change it back again.

The OUATIH lenti's were awful, this might be my last Manta purchase

What do people expect with the clarity of the lentis... they're as described.

Manta:
Lenticular Full Slip B: Super Clear/Depth "3D" Lenticular, UV, Embossing

No mention of it being clear, never mind "super clear"

Joking aside, obviously a different supplier. I can't imagine the mock-up being blurry so it can only be the production. Steel looks awesome though, and 99% of the time I get fullslips so personally can't complain
