That sounds likely to me - if the amaray was locked, I doubt that Universum will make new discs for the steelbook release.

The back of the steelbook seems to confirm this.

I have to agree that this is pretty ugly. Like they had a bunch of extra pictures lying around and were like "let's throw these all over a table and that's the cover." but I bought it anyway for the movies awesome-ness

I have to respectfully disagree, I really like this steelbook. Not a fan of the german on the back but I can customize that.
