Important Group Buy update

Official update for all group buy participants -

The licensing agreement for Black Panther, for unknown reasons, still has not been resolved and because of this Infinity War will now be being released first (roughly early December time). The licensing agreement for Black Panther is looking to be completed around November time but because of the other releases (infinity War, Greatest Showman, Three Billboards), Black Panther will not ship until January 2019 at the earliest.

Infinity War will ship with the same editions (1/4 slip + Box, One Click, DL, SL and full slip)

Group Buy members, we have a couple of options for you -

1. Transfer
Your Black Panther request will automatically be transferred to the same edition to that of Avengers: Infinity War. You will then be guaranteed a spot for Black Panther, which will be charged for again later on in the year (or potentially January 2019)

2. Refund
You can cancel your Black Panther request and be refunded. Please note that should you change your mind afterwards we cannot allow you to repurchase Black Panther. At this time there will not be a further GB for it (however this may change although not guaranteed)

3. Wait it out
Wait for Black Panther to be released. If you decide to wait it out, as a thank you we will enter you into a HDN sponsored prize draw.

The official GB for Avengers: Infinity War won't be live until November.

Bit disappointed with the change but she is potentially a future Black Panther so kinda ranks higher than Okoye in a way

She might even be wearing the Black Panther suit in T’Challa’s stead in Avengers 4. That’s purely my own speculation.

Sadly they’ve been doing this since Finding Dory early last year. It’s a shame to me because Blufans always picks beautiful art to go on the discs but the Chinese characters are so jarring with none of the rest of the edition featuring any. The Chinese characters feel out of place.

I, too, was misled by the mockups. As far as I know it’s a new Chinese law that forced Blufans to change the text from English to Chinese just on the discs. So said Kevin on the other site.

me too! There can't be enough chinese involved in these releases. I'm still sad that HDZeta removed the chinese writing from their spines.

I think Chinese text is a good 'design' in itself. I don't understand one bit of it unless it's a title of course but when I see it on discs and slips etc it just looks classy, maybe because it reminds me of a solid symbol or logo or something and looks neat and smart in the overall design layout.

Correct, 1/4 slip supposed to be released mid august, rest of other editions early September.

Update from Kevin (RE: 1/4 slip)

Due to licensing delay, the 1/4 slip edition might be out at the end of August instead of mid August. I will keep you posted on any progress. Thank you all for your understanding and patience!
