Artwork seems to be a 'love it or hate it' affair. Personally I love it and I notice from the Zavvi description that it will be embossed on the front. Which is nice.

I really like the art, there was a whole load of posters released around the time of the theatrical release (remember spying one in the Cameo in Edinburgh) that was in a similar style to this, and I always found it striking. I agree that the cracked façade of the UK slipcase release would be good, but I think they made a good choice personally.

Hatross, me, too, glad to see the film get a Steel without regurgitated art from other releases I already own. The set of special art created for the film was stellar, imo.

I agree, I think it's beautiful. Really sets it apart from other DVD and Blu releases. Slight shame about the inner artwork chopping Miss Portman in half though...

If they'd done the cracked façade as the inside art? Now that would've topped it off perfectly. So looking forward to this, gonna have to re-watch the film real soon.

The inner artwork is a bit stupid, b/c the image of Natalie Portman is on the spine. The inner spine is the worst place for a picture. I'm not a big fan of the exterior artwork either, but the the inner artwork ruins it from me.

I'll probably get it, but I'm still hoping the inner artwork will get changed, or at least placed properly.

Maybe it's a rushed mock-up? I remember a few of the other Fox wave (the one due on 1st April) having heads cut off and similar, but it was changed for the final release.

Really not liking the inside art, there is no worse place than the spine for the main focus of the picture. Couldn't they have put a picture of Portman and Kunis together as the inside art? :naughty:

Hmm, not sure I'm too keen on this artwork. The front is the same as (or very similar to) one of the postcards we had at work which I've got stuck inside my slip cover version. It's okay but I think I just love the image of Natalie Portman with the cracked face too much to buy this. The inside artwork is very random.

Please write some more films the director made on the cover because I'm not going to buy this if it's only his 3rd film ...

Eh to this artwork. I a bit tired of black steelbooks but this is called Black Swan:rolleyes: so yeah. Like the back art tho. Gotta think about it but Ill probably still cave and buy it
