I got to meet up with Traci Lords this past weekend, so I had her sign my Blade Steelbook. Thought it was awesome to have her image on the back too, so I had her sign it there. It was funny, she didn't even know they made this - I told her she could just order one off of Amazon.ca.....

is this version worth getting over the Japanese version and is it worth paying £22 for it. I was hoping for Play.com to come up with Blade 1,2 and 3 steelbooks (hopfully we might get them next year).

I think it's worth getting, as long as you wind up paying less for it than the Japanese version that is. It's a nice steelbook to be honest and has everything from clean to inside art.

Love this Steelbook and it goes well with my Blade II (DE) and Blade Trinity (DE) Steelbooks.

It's region A, it will not play in the UK.

Don't buy it for the Blu-ray, it's not even in the correct aspect ratio

I just swapped out the disc and put in the US disc

Ive done the same and put the UK disc even though i have region free player solely becuase the region a disc had the wrong aspect ration and was an aweful transfer.

I'll think I'll do the same then, nice looking Steelbook though.

I ordered the Blade Steelbook & it showed up today, if your just going to collect then the Steelbook is much nicer looking than in the pictures. If you can still find it, I would recommend it, plus you can buy it on regular Blu-Ray for cheap now anyway & keep the Steelbook sealed.
