Have used before and was always way more clear and this was run very poorly. Just my opinion.

I guess the group buy is on another page, which I can't find for the life of me. What a joke.

There's no need to cop an attitude in here, most if not all forum members are more than willing to help you out and also you can reach out to any forum moderator or staff member and they would be glad to help you. If you really had done it before you would already know that we have a specific section dedicated to Group Buys and is accessible from anywhere in the forum as seen in the screenshot below which is doubtful according to your second quote.

My suggestion is to find the Group Buy you are interested in and click to WATCH that thread and get email updates and you would know exactly when and where to go. Incidentally the forum will allow you to also bookmark the section you want as well. So please do your research beforehand so as to be prepared next time. The GB thread your looking for is three down in the list in the GB section.

Guessed as much lol. Just wondered as I've never had a payment fail before with HDZ. Looking through my past orders today I saw a duplicated SPR order pending for $121.99 with a "pay" button next to it. Didn't even know it was there! My SPR Boxset already shipped so this is a second order. But next to the failed order from today there is no "pay" button

I subscribe to the Group Buys thread with email alerts so when I just happened to check my email at 9:25 AM while in a meeting that was wrapping up I saw the alert, clicked on the link and proceeded with my purchase. I did make sure I was already logged in to PayPal beforehand. I know I just got lucky but also give credit to how smooth the Group Buys run here.

Yep.

How do I list presale items?
To list presale items, you must guarantee that the item can be shipped within 30 days of the purchase being completed, and make clear in the listing and product that the item is presale. The handling time you specify should reflect the time it will take from the end of the listing until it can be shipped.

For some pre-release items and all accessories, we may block listings and products until there are no more than 30 days to the release date of the item.

Yes. Any items that can't be sent to the buyer within 30 days of purchase aren't allowed. Examples include subscriptions and layaway payment programs.

Problem is, the GB was only posted here about an hour before the announcement. No idea on pricing or quantity prior to that.

Sometimes they have been posted (at most) 30 minutes before the HDZeta live time.

We have no control over when the GB host posts their actual listing.

I think the problem here is that the OP shows Pre-order & Group Buy date: September 12, 2018 at 10 AM EST US time.
That is the reason some people didn't tune in until 10 AM. If the group buy time was unknown to HDN then perhaps the OP should have indicated that. Or perhaps the OP should have been updated at 6 AM EST US time that it would take place at a random time between 8 AM and 10 AM EST US when it was announced in post #159 on page 8.

I didn't have time to update an OP while trying to get dressed for work, but if you are interested in contributing to this forum and helping members - and one of those ways would be contributing and editing OPs when new info is presented, I'd be more than happy to discuss
this further with you and get you setup in that role.

More hands on deck, the more help we get, the easier it is to update info that is posted by other parties which continually ignore peoples schedules and availability.

I often wonder if they think Staff doesn't have day jobs and we're all waiting around for their next post.

I would like to say thanks for even getting the group buy in the first place..

I for one didn’t clear the gb checkout quick enough to get a copy and that’s just the way it goes.

Based on our last set of conversations I was hoping we had something to build on, and that this forum would continue to be valued with what we bring to that edition and be rewarded in return.

However, if what someone posted previously on this thread is true, I'm very disappointed that another group got a larger allocation - that's just my own POV, just because I think we do a lot of great things on this forum and
want us to be "the best" place to go for exclusives.

Anyways, Silver Label is a joke. The steelbooks are WWA. I bet @Noodles can do better artwork. I will buy his slipboxes anytime over these overpriced Silver Labels.

The 30 allocated to HDN just causes disappointments here.
