hmm 13€ for a movie which got already countless steelbook releases, most probably come with a cheap finish and lack of inside art and huge print run is a good price but a zavvi catalogue title for 15pounds with premium finish and most likely first sb release ever/world exclusive plus 4k limited run is too much.

interesting and make me once think again if really companies destroying this hobby or may it be the collectors who burying there own graves. :dunno:

anyway, new artwork is little step forward for warner

I want to believe, but for 13€ It's highly unlikely that this is going to have a gloss finish

Ive ordered, any idea on print run at this stage? I know Zavvi tends to have 4k so should we assume this is the same or does it vary in Germany??

and let's not forget that almost (not all, I know, but almost) all German steelbooks come with a lovely back cover full of cluttered German text, gorgeous ratings logos and other movie/studio information... just the way us collectors prefer our steelbooks! :squint:

according to the last warner steels from amazon.de i assume the print run is high as the demand. there stock getting several times refilled from time to time.

Ordered, you can never have enough Blade Runner Steelbooks :)

Funny... for me, one copy is too many. Really liked my Canadian steelbook itself, and I know this film is beyond iconic and that I probably won't be able to log in to HDN anymore after posting this, but I watched it twice all the way through, and I just couldn't get into it. My favorite part about it is the lavishly gorgeous set backdrops, especially in the end sequence. Way ahead of it's time, for sure. But after watching it twice and soaking in every aspect of the movie, I will probably never watch it again. Oh well... can't love em all.

This will be the 6th time I've bought this on blu ray (5 Disc Briefcase, CA Steelbook, JP Steelbook, 30th Anniversary Edition, 2 Disc Slipcase). I've had a couple of DVDs, the HD-DVD, and even the VHS version too.

It's a good job the 2 digibooks have the same art as the steelbooks now (I've been looking at the US one for a while until this) or I'd be up to 8 blus.

Trouble is, I don't think I can fit 3 steelbooks in the DVD tin.
