We are all* potential resellers. But otherwise only people that i can see being upset are resellers
I think there is a pretty lage fraction of people for whom the value or the potential added value of a Steelbook is a factor in collecting and I think that's totally fine. As soon as it becomes the deciding factor though and when you "invest" more money than you can afford, then the dynamic changes and you become bitter and agitated when rerelases happen or your precious grails lose in value for other reasons (better releases of the same movie, as seen with Blade Runner Manta replacing the HDzeta one as the most expensive BR release).Personally, as I've mentioned many times before, I have always hated the comments about how pissed off people get because something they own can be owned by others. Pissed off by reprints because it hurts the "value" of something they purchased at retail price. Now other people have the chance to buy the same item once again at the retail price.
Boo f'n hoo.
I buy something because I like it for whatever reason. Not because I want it to go up in value. Not because it's something that not everybody can have.
You want to buy something original that not everybody can own and will go up in value? Then buy a Picasso.
All this metal, paper and plastic discs with movies on them aren't worth anywhere near the original retail price people pay for them anyway and someday they won't be worth anything at all and you all know that.

If there were 5 of each Picassos they wouldn't be worth near as much as they are. So good try, but point for the other team lolYou want to buy something original that not everybody can own and will go up in value? Then buy a Picasso.
Oh and I forgot to mention, I hope someday soon your entire collections get reprinted.![]()
Don't disagree and with limited runs and numbered editions then certainly then it's a consideration and reason to be annoyed about a reprint. We are all* potential resellers.
* Aside from the 5 or 6 ninjas that might claim they will forever be buried with their collection when the time comes.

Amazon product
It's the Polish release. But at £54 it is by far and away the cheapest I have ever seen one out side of release. Two left if anyone needs.
Edit: it seems I cant post links. It is on amazon EU. Should be able to find it.

The description lists it as Polish with polish audio first and english. I dunno. But I ordered one anyway.Odd, I didn't actually think it was released in Poland. The amazon uk listing stemmed back to an import on amazon Germany, that originated from amazon Italy. So I'd assumed the Italian release.. . It was about £45 shipped from amazon Italy an hour ago, ordered myself. All sold out now though.
Yeah i did see that after. Odd. Doesn't matter really, front and spine will be in English, slip rear text will be foreign either way.The description lists it as Polish with polish audio first and english. I dunno. But I ordered one anyway.
How did the listing 'stemm back' to another Amazon, I don't get it?Odd, I didn't actually think it was released in Poland. Amazon EU. Straight from the horses mouth. They had about 13 when I found it.Damn it, how is it I check the forum every few hours, and missed this...
Who was the seller?
It's an amazon EU import listing, being sold through amazon UK. Amazon EU listings originate from European amazon sites where items are available for sale from amazon EU directly, or from sellers who use their delivery service. I just looked up the ASIN, it wasn't that difficult. How did the listing 'stemm back' to another Amazon, I don't get it?
