Do you have the original? Doubt you would say that if so ... The original Horizontal is Just missing inside art... But very nice gloss with special surface for Denzel and debossed title. One of my fav steels.

I have to agree with that one. I got the Horizontal with flask when it came out. Considering getting rid of it, as I had multiple Steels of same movie (when I was still doing that). But decided to keep the German Horizontal Steel based on the art/finish. STILL have not seen the movie...oi vey!

I agree. The horizontal Book of Eli is one of my favorites. Oh, and the movie is .

Geez, all these steels coming out are really making my wallet suffer. They should spread some of these out a little bit more.

Really!!, I prefer the FS one over this & the Horizontal one too, it's unique and when displayed stands it out more, dunno but there's something about all the old FS (TBOE/Iron Man/IB/PE/Watchmen etc) releases that simply outshine all these new re-releases and will never devalue IMO

I think the horizontal version makes the art so much more panoramic than this version. I like it better, the horizontal verion that is

This is actually very nice. But I don't think I will be double dipping. Very much content with the FS version which also has back art with the lower quarter printed. I assume the german version will have the entire back printed so thats a difference to consider for those of you that care about back art.

already own the german horizontal debossed version, which works really well and looks great.
a shame these releases are using recycled artwork. takes the edge off the desirability for me, personally.
