Bummed. Literally everything is just claptrap the game is so much more then the quick witted robot companion
Blame Randy Pitchford, besides him being a creep he should not have been involved with the making of the film.
I am sure he is fuming right now after all the negative reviews, casting is so weird, humor didn't work, making it PG13 and where are all the guns?
You'd think for a game that has so many cool weapons they would show it, but all I see is just regular guns being used.
At least it has great artwork, so gnna order all the steelbooks/posters/vinyl to add to my BL collection

I'm not celebrating failure but it is a good thing this did badly as the last thing anyone wants is an IP they care about getting this kind of treatment. At least the steelbook (the other one!) looks nice.

Claptrap is the worst part of the game. So annoying (but the claptrap DOC where you mow down hoards of claptraps was cathartic)
The Pre-Sequel: Claptastic Voyage dlc was amazing, thats the DLC that saved the pre sequel for me, I played Nisha on tps.
Hated playing as claptrap cause of his random action skill whereas Nisha was auto aim massacre mode.
Did you play all the games?
Presequel and the second tales games are the only ones i’ve not played yet. Played all others. Do you HAVE to play as claptrap for pre-sequel? I’d rather not, to be honest lol
Been revisiting the main 3 to clean up any missing trophies and a few DLC i’d missed previously.
Big fan of the games and Cate was Lilith embodied. So perfect. But the rest of the characters were toned down too much or just plain wrong in the movie.
In The Pre Sequel you have 6 characters, I recommend NISHA hands down the best, auto aim is her action skill, combined that with skills like Tombstone/One for each of Ye/Fan the Hammer and any enemies near her will be dead by the time the action skill has ended.
- Athena (her shield is cool but I dont like that play style)
- Wilhelm was my first character I picked but he was underwhelming he goes in Fight for you Life mode way too much even with the best gear
- Claptrap is annoying and unreliable to play because of his action skill, unless you have explosive weapons he is pretty much useless
- Handsome Jack (doppelganger) is the 2nd best character (we finally get to play as him) his skill are really cool, in borderlands 3 they basically used his skills for Zayne
- And lastly you have Aurelia, another character I hated playing she isnt good at all
For BL1 Lilith was my go to character, for BL2 Maya mostly but I played them all, all maxed out characters OP10 level.
In Bl3 Zayne because he is basically an improved version of Handsome jack character from the pre sequel, with some incredible skills great for raid bosses, and Amara 2nd because I love playing as Sirens and using elemental damage
