Wish i could watch the german v ghana game. Currently out and about but hope to catch replays plater.

Ghana could have taken the game, two counters with more players and they didnt know what to do with the ball.

Ozil was disappointing, just poor. He lost ball after ball that even low was pissed off at him towards the end of the game. Such inconsistency.

Ghana v Germany

What a fantastic 2nd half, both teams looked exhausted at full-time
A fair result on the balance of play, although Ghana had a great chance to make it 3-1:(
i think this is turning out to be one of the best world cups ever, really enjoying it:scat:

Nigeria and Bosnia didnt get the memo. This is a boring match. Both teams arent offering much really.

Just a few hours to go before kick-off, hoping Portugal perform much better than the awful Germany game. I think they'll be fired up from that defeat and get the win tonight! 3-1 ;)

btw, Belgium v Russia

When Ji Sung Park was playing for South Korea, they had a great team.
Unfortunately, the current crop of players is not as good [emoji20]

Have to stay awake want to see USA - Portugal, why oh why is it a work day tomorrow?

When I came out of the theater (went to see The Rover, great film, I hope it gets a steelbook :)) and heard the concert of honks and screeching tires, I just knew Algeria had won :D (beating South Korea, what a feat :emb:).

And now there'll be a second wave in about 90 minutes when Portugal wins, well there goes my sleep :( :D.

Yeah a well taken goal by Jones. Plenty of time left though, still think Portugal can win it!

We played poorly except for Dempsey's brilliant goal and the corner kick winner. Bradley is awful in the 1st half. But mission accomplished we got the 3 points.
We just have to draw Portugal and Germany and the U.S. will advance to the next round.

Mission number 2, draw Portugal. Checked.
All we need to do is draw Germany and we're in the round of 16.

I think USMNT did a good job, now we know that we can play with the big boys. :scat:

Cristiano's crossed is just world class. :dunno:
