I'm more thinking wonder how many people who don't have this will be able to buy off zavvi. We all know how quick majority of the marvel steelbooks sell. Now they are giving people early access, what about the casual customer or someone looking to start collecting steelbooks?

There will be limit per customers especially with marvel but yea good point

The way I see it, and it’s the classic cliche comment but vote with the wallets. If not enough people do it then it won’t last long

Only problem is, all the idiots on twitter that love them, they will all sign up

Marvel steels already sell out so quick so early accesss will be nice.

Importing usa steels is $$$ so there aint much else we can do unless you buy European ones

Okay so if the marvel thing is bothering people, they still stick around for a day or 2 before selling out sometimes longer.
It’s still the same customers buying them, they won’t gain customers from this and they will limit orders like they do now. They cancel orders for anyone who orders over a certain amount.

As long as your there at midnight or a few hours after the live time of whenever that marvel steel is live then you will have 0 issues

Well out of the recent 4k releases the only title that has lasted longer then a day that I can remember was ragnarok the rest sold out within 2/3 hours now giving subscribing customers (let's say 50% for argument sake) a first dibs this creates such a small window for people who haven't got the red carpet subscription. Typical money grabbing zavvi. Alienating new customers and casual collectors

All true but I have no idea how this will all work.

All I can say is email them and complain, I just have. It will only be idiots and scalpers that join this money grabbing scheme

They have tried stuff like this in the past and it failed after a few months. You had to order the original iron man lenti and cap lenti with a zbox and there was uproar. That didn’t last long. BUT with a subscription in place, if it don’t work they will still keep it going for the year due to the yearly payment

It's only for customers in uk so anyone overseas will not get access to new pre order stuff unless then hold stock back.

So many WWA steels these days are total arse that i’m really not that fussed about joining some subscription scheme.

I considered the free postage but I didn’t even order enough from Zavvi the past 12 months to justify that.

Vote with your wallets Ninjas, we only moan and say “waiting for Blufans” anyway

Exactly.

I'm the same. The only thing I ordered from Zavvi in the last 6 months was Alita.

And that's only because I forgot to cancel it in time! :p

Um.....no its not.

I got the email. I'm in Ireland.

Its €11.99 for access for the year.....
I got that email also the other day but even though website will let you purchase a subscription
From Zavvi website

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT RED CARPET
UK only for now. Zavvi Red Carpet is available only to UK residents.

You will very likely not get free shipping on your orders been based outside UK

I'm not subscribing to find out if it will work for Rep of Ireland customers

Zavvi going full Brexit.

I suppose from a business point of view it makes sense for them, exploit those who want to import. and from a British collectors point of view, its good since there won't be so much competition to own the more sought after steels. such as this one.

*edit

I didn't know they were creating a paywall with preorder benefits behind it. that sucks. if this is the future for savvy, count me out

Get a grip only a tenner not like other sites or eBay sellers charging shocking rate for premiums and delivery costs check out the blurayforlife store on eBay and that will put a small £9.99 fee into perspective for all you know we might get improved packaging from zavvi now. Chill
