Well then either zavvi are lying, eonedirect was lying or they changed the finishes because we were told just matte finish on all 4 causing a lotto cancel most of these including myself.
This is on the way but I'll order the rest of them on price drops anyway
Exactly. I'd rather they didn't give us any details at all than send out mixed messages, as it only leaves us in the same situation we were in to begin with... not knowing for sure. Would love for Zavvi to be correct, but we all know that's not usually the case... guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I would really like the 4 listings to be correct too, said it all along that spot gloss would suit these perfectly especially the red on this
If the listings are true it's strange that the mist is just matte!
I won't be too bothered if I paid full price for this and drops on the other 3, at least 3 of 4 will be cheap (by my logic lol)

Spot gloss is my favourite finish out of them all, so would love for these to get that treatment! To be fair, it was a while ago when @eonedirect said they'd be matte, so maybe they went back to the drawing board once they saw people's reaction. ). Still not getting my hopes up just yet though... I'll be surprised if Zavvi are right for once. Same here mate... can't remember the last time I pre-ordered a catalog title from them. That was a good deal, but I passed on it as I wasn't desperate to get any of those steels and can see most of them dropping below £10 sooner or later anyway. As for the Blade steels... I have a feeling they'll no longer be happening.

Yeah they seem to care, manta lab too. Been speaking on email to John and he's extremely helpful and willing to talk about stuff. Had some interesting info from him
Personally I can't see treasure planet going below £10 but it might drop to £10 and then a discount code but Alice may go to £8.99 or something. I just needed them to complete the collection and £10 each was okayish in my book.
so now I'm up to date with Disney animation collection and few others like national treasures for live action but I'm not too bothered about those 2.
Plus Alice does have 3D so thats a good price I think and full gloss too.

Very dissapointed and zavvi were lying in their descriptions
@Noodles its like a soft zero finish all over which isn't a bad finish but the fact I now thought this was spot gloss and also the picture don't seem as strong as the mock up and a bit more dull
The red does shine in the light but not how spot gloss would.

Thanks for confirming chaps.@Noodles It's matte finish but with metallic shine to it. Would have been perfect if it was spot gloss.
Zavvi were wrong then, as expected... what a surprise.
The disc art is brighter than the image on the steel!
The art on the steel should of looked how the art on the disc does
And the spine title is extremely faint

My copies already on its way mate, so there's no backing out now lol. I think it looks okay from your photos though... plus it's one of my favourite films, so it should be worth it for me.
