Well my 2 turned up today both dented That's 5 out of 5 received damaged from HMV in the last week. Their quality control has gone right down the pan recently.

On top of which, they're claiming one of the damaged steels I sent back was never received into their warehouse - so anybody sending stuff back to them - make sure it's recorded!

hmv are shockingly bad these days, I returned my damaged hunger games and I contacted them to see what the delay was in sending out my replacement because I knew they had received it days before as I sent it out by recorded delivery, they said they hadn't received it and as soon as I replied saying I have sent it recorded and told them the name of guy who signed for it they then said shortly afterwards they had found it and they didn't even send a replacement just got my money back and the steelbook had gone upto 20 quid, sounds like hmv are up to no good.

Just saw this movie...

For the first hour I was like: "I'm so glad I didn't buy the steelbook, this movie is terrible." Then there was the drastic change which really amused me, so I got much more into the movie. However, in the end, I'm left unsatisfied when it comes to the acting (it was really, really bad) and I also found the ending rather disappointing (though, at the same time, pretty dry in a funny way).

Hmpf. I'll skip this one.

Yeah I saw this today, it was a strange movie! Really was quite different, not sure if it's good or bad? But either way 90 minutes of entertainment, a decent quality steel, better then some others I had like Infestation DE which I ebay'ed straight away lol.

Just watched this - fantastic twist for a modern horror movie - very unique idea! (at least that I"ve seen) A lot of fun. I can't wait to get this steelbook. Although, now that I've seen it, the inside and back art is kind of dull in relation to the movie. There are so many other directions they could've gone. But nice looking steel none-the-less.

Just finished watching this. I enjoyed it very much. The art direction for all the monsters were great. I'm not much of a horror movie guy but then again this movie isnt really horror. Loved how many cameos of actors that worked with Whedon.

On several occasions the sound went or the scene would freeze for a second which interrupted the film quite a bit. It got pretty frustrating during it. Anyone find this? It has never happened on my PS3 with any other film before.


Onto the film.
It was amazing! You can really see Joss Whedon's influence in the script and it revisits the ideas he has used in his shows like Buffy and Dollhouse. Also if you are a horror fan you should enjoy this as it makes several references to these types of films. The last 30 mins really changed and ramped it up. Loved the ending too. 8.5/10 for me.

Shame about the playback issues though.

enjoyed the film - watched loads of horrors and it was certainly different - not sure I'd be so generous with the score though - a 6.5 ramped up to a 7 for the unique idea/twist I think

Glad it's not just me then. Does the company need to do a disc recall?

I almost gave it a 9 as it was really refreshing but the playback issues affected the flow for me.

I'm using a dedicated Panny BD 3D player. I've read a lot of PS3 users having same issues too. People even rewinding and getting error in exactly the same place.

It does look like an authoring issue.
