Just spoke with the supervisor at HMV and was advised that technicolor delivered a box full of replacements to Birmingham warehouse yesterday BUT ........ wait for it !



THEY LOST THEM ha ha ...... the boss is going to travel to the warehouse Monday to see who signed the delivery manifest ......

That is very strange about WOTT being discontinued, it's still advertised in the Swords, Blanchardstown and Dundrum HMV's, I'm guessing he had absolutely no clue what you where asking for, it's happened to me on many occasions in HMV, I better get in and pre-order my copy of Dark Shadows just in case they don't get it in stock.

Yep their customer care stinks, I personally think they should just close up shop and let amazon or play take all their exclusives, at least that way we would get them and not have to worry about getting ripped off as well.

Fingers crossed that you get your copy of Cabin in the Woods mate.

I was on to HMV Henry St again this morning and I was informed that the Cabin in the Woods steelbook was supposed to be with todays shipment but never arrived. He said it might be in Monday at the earliest, but then again it could be next Friday. He also said they've been told that the Blu-Rays have been re-packaged, so I'm guessing we are going to get polybags with the replacement disk inside the case.

If this is true then they really are bloody useless! Play.com should realease ALL the steelbooks for the UK.

I went hmv oxford street and bought one....all theirs have been unsealed and replaced with new discs.

One more thing guys....if you have not bought a copy yet....grab one asap....the girl only had a handful....about 8 and said they have no more left and HMV store is one of the biggest store in the UK. This is after she visited the stock room to bring them out for me. Hurry... remember these are the ONLY release of this title anywhere that I am aware of.

I still haven't received my replacement disc. I really want to watch this again so I'm hoping it arrives soon.

On the plus side it would appear that this steelbook might be pretty rare which is nice.

This is most certainly going to be the rarest steelbook for a release in 2012. I urge my fellow collectors grab these from your local store as I am pretty sure these will not reappear online anytime sn if at all. London's Oxford Street has a few left at £17.

See I'm thinking this, but only really rare for the properly sealed copies, both hmvs I've been in are selling in a sealed protective sleeve, which I would buy but I'm all about proper sealed :|

picked up 2 sealed copys at hmv today, the new discs where on the outside in a plastic wallet. the steelcase on both are still sealed with faulty discs inside.

Picked up my copy earlier today... Still sealed and given the new disc at the checkout. Thought I'd may as well keep it sealed seen as I was being handed the new disc seperately... But... the Idiot behind the checkout wasn't aware of the faulty disc issue and half unsealed it to put the new disc in until his manager told him the old disc was still inside and that the new one was to be handed out, as they were being bought.... So on my way out the store I nabbed another off the shelf and switched it with the one he half unsealed. Douche bag!

I've seen plenty, saw in mk they had 40 stacked up on Thursday sadly none sealed. Do you reckon hmv will be still be printing these. Or do they make there fill ammount one time? Because there could still be a chance to grab a sealed one later down the line!

Got hold of a sealed copy at the hmv store at Bluewater today. They had a lot in stock with a label stuck on the front saying 'disc to be given at tils'.

I don't think so, there's a listing there for £17 but it doesn't mention it being the Steelbook.
