They had plenty at my local HMV a few days ago. They were in resealable bags. They also had a re-stock of The Avengers Steelbook as well.

Yeah it really sucks, I'm kinda on the fence with regards to whether or not to purchase this on a third party website as I don't have enough posts to trade with fellow ninja's. I really loved the movie and would hate to miss out on this one. I wish HMV would get there act together and start to communicate with their customers properly. Ah, but you guys got the steels with the faulty discs. I pre-ordered mine as soon as it went up but for some reason they didn't ship mine. I got the email last Monday saying they'd received the replacement discs and are in the process of shipping it to me. But what about the steelbook?

i honestly think some members or a few people out there got the short end of the stick and their steelbooks were never sent even though it said dispatched... best of luck, hope it does turns up though cause these are becoming rare imho. I parted w/mine for about $50

If anyone is still after this, it's worth checking your local HMV. Just got back from picking up Dark Shadows and there were at least 2 Cabin's in the A to Z section at £17!

Just spoke to the missus about this to make sure she'd got this sorted.

She had received the replacement discs from HMV, but they never actually sent out the steelbook originally despite charging her for it!! She rang up the customer services who have told her to send the discs back for a refund and to check local stores.

She has rang up our local store and luckily they have a few copies left and have put one to the side for us

I'm guessing they just moved the stock to the stores. I don't think they knew what to do with the faulty disc issue so they removed it online.

I spoke to some1 at hmv today as I pre-ordered the steelbook but never got it. The idiot on the phone told me its currently out of stock, but they'll try and get one out to me soon. I then mentioned the faulty disc problem! And was told he didn't know anything about that, and maybe I've been miss informed. I kindly hung up on him, before I told him to shove his joke of a company up his own *ss!!

So this is going to be considered rare since its now appearently OOS online, recalled with a faulty disc and whatnot? I got mine at a somewhat decent price here in the US third party since I missed out on pre-order. Wanted to get it quick just in case it starts going for ridiculous prices.

Went into my local hmv today , they had 1 left on the shelf so took it to the till they then said oh we have to open it take the dodgy disc out and send back then they give you the new disc to go inside ? nahh i want to keep it sealed , oh we cant do that .. so i said no wonder your be out of jobs in 12 months poxy company ,, anyway got a mint copy of dark shadows lol

if its sealed without tags then im sure it will be , although tags dont bother me they come off easy enough but some collectors lose sleep over them lol

Thanks, I checked hmv.com and it says "Awaiting stock allocation". I pre-ordered on March 7!
