I actually hadn't noticed that!

Anyway, mines going back for a replacement due to the cracked insert. Hopefully I won't get one that's in worse shape.

don't think it was overlooked just used the same artwork as the amaray front and back

Looks great everybody, but that is not what was already approved. There's a different process altogether to get new artwork approved, but for both Thor and Capt Am, they used the exact images front and back as the standard amaray artwork. On the inside, they can put whatever they want.

Nice looking steel on the outside overall (yeah that empty segment is silly) but the picture on the inside is terrible and barely visible. Dunno what they were thinking.

Still glad to have it in hand - especially now I've peeled off the thin line of glue all the way down the front of the steel which was masquerading as a long thin scratch from top to bottom. Thor, too, had quite a lot of excess glue from the J-card but not as bad as this.

You can easily photoshop out the background.
I think it would look great next to the original Thor steel.

I think that we all have to admit now that we'll have to get used to it. Matte dull finishes ARE the standard. No more gloss. Looks like theres a shortage of gloss or the gloss machine is broken.

Gloss appears to be available in short supply perhaps and at a premium which it seems studios dont want to do, so, matte is here to stay and rule the world

I am in such good mood w.r.t. steel collecting that I actually think I like this, and am happy to be receiving this soon! Marvel all the way...I cannot wait for CA2 to hit the cinemas in March too!
