What's the deal now? Did Hong Kong make more than the 200? Went out of stock everywhere....now today, it's in stock the whole day!

I doubt the print run was 200. For such a big name release I would think just HMV alone got more than 200 stock.

So should not be as high as 2K, maybe 1K

My information is under 1K, but not just 200......possibly around 600-800, and I pick them up at over 6 stores, I buy all stock from at least three stores!

I think HMV made a mistake and it wasn't in stock that long at all. Unfortunately I'd expect cancellation notices to come through for any if not all orders placed while it was showing as available yesterday.

Yesterday is first day item release date. Maybe They forget to closed automatic in-stock date. Then they got a tons of orders.

I have been told that all orders placed yesterday will be cancelled there was a mistake with the stock very low and hi demand 300 total not 200 .

But did you go to all that work so you could help out your fellow Ninjas or did you do it to make almost a 3X profit on the steels? If you did it to help out the community, I don't think it's fair that you set your own markup. You let people tip you based on the amount of work they think you put into it. I've seen Marc say he ran all over Canada to get his GB items, but he doesn't increase his price based on that.

Sorry I wasn't in-tune with the thread from the beginning and didn't get into your "pre-order" list. There's so much going on, it's easy to overlook things you know? I didn't realize how good that slip looked and inquired if you might have any extras. If I knew you were going to overcharge that much, I wouldn't have troubled you

First there are not 3x profit, you can ask someone have ordered or check at HMV web, second Canada steel will not sold out fast, because they have so many copies, please try to asking Marc or someone from Canada sell the Iron Man FS to you at cost, look will anyone sell to you!

Final....I will not do this stupid thing again! I should just help my friends, that's all!

Some mistakes were made at the very beginning...And how the requests for copies were handled...At the pre-release stage that is. Any requests once the item was instore, is a slightly different ball game in my book.

I'll like to add that the way in HK maybe different to the UK or Canada at the retail store level and maybe you can't simply walk out with handfuls of steels for a limited release.

My bad. 299HK shows up as $38 for me. I was rounding.

I bet Marc would've gotten an Iron Man FS at cost when it was first released for me if I was around back then to ask for it. This steelbook just released. It's not 4 years later for it. I don't think that comparison works.
