Here's one of my slip concepts and yes the front does remind me of Wonder Woman

View attachment 416232
:coffee:The back one is not the best but that give me great ideas.
:whistle:Remove the big Miss, have a picture of the miss in each quadrant matching the different age in the film(have not see the film yet , just from the trailer 1st one only).:D
:coffee:And at the back of the star have the MISS picture(a good one)as transparent one, both side with the void space is not attractive(unless you but stars):oohyeah:

I feel that collectors edition is a way of trying to be Blufans or another collectors set

Kind of poor work if the art is going to be the same boring old WW art with no title, if you are paying that much then you want a good overall product.

Actually, how much is Blufans if you are in the UK and you import a single or double lenti over? I feel like I'd be paying the same including delivery charges while Zavii being in the UK is £60 with free delivery.
Importing anything is £40-60 depending on set, retailers, ediction etc

But that’s delivered so postage costs eating into profit (£9 average postage cost) so taking all that into account, Zavvi are just being greedy.

£45 max for collectors edition IMO

its not worth £60. not even plain archive charge that and they actually put a lot of effort in to create something genuinely desirable.

unlike this by-the-numbers 'collectors edition'

Not a question of what it's worth as like all collectables these items have little to no 'intrinsic value' (no precious metals here) and are worth what the other fellow is prepared to pay for them.

Anyway, as far as Blu-ray steelbook packaging is concerned, the fun for the kids light-up facility is the first I've seen in the UK although not the first seen anywhere with one of the more attractive examples being the BttF FLUX CAPACITOR edition (France) with what looks like a light-up hologram on the front and came with the trilogy steelbook as well as what looks like the bits and pieces included in the BttF (UK) metal tin trilogy edition from 2010 . . . the similar style FLUX CAPACITOR (barebones in comparison) release in the UK did not come with the trilogy steelbook:-

Now am the last to willingly praise Zavvi, but as far as am aware the light up aspect is fairly unique(doubt they arent the first) so assuming the overall product isn’t cheap quality and the light gimmick works well a simple part of the whole, then i’d be Ok to spunk £60(its a tad on the high side even if the end product isn’t fantasic) especially a small someone who often shells out Nan average of £50 for WWA/WEA premium sets, this isn’t outrageously overpriced. Just at the very high end of premium costs.

At his point it’s zavvi’s to fudge up.

I preordered and will decide nearer the time, buyer chances are I’ll take delivery to see it in hand before deciding..but we’ll see. They may piss me off before then and force me to angry-cancel my few orders, LOL

Will the “light up” aspect of the slip still be a selling point when the battery has run down in 12 months time?

You can change the batteries on the close encounters slip so hopefully this is the same.

I’ve personlly only pre ordered to test the waters. Also got a solo steel on pre order but if pics surface before release and it looks naf then I’ll just cancel it

Saying that, If I decide to leave it on pre order and it arrives and it’s naf I’ll just return it lol
