I think this finally helps me understand their shipping charges! Was a bit confused, but it seems like each order is 800jpy regardless, then 300 per item. So it's better to have multiple items ordered.

Sorry to hear that - if ordering only 1 disc you MUST use gift wrap option to ensure it goes in a box. Otherwise they'll just ship it in a card mailer.

FYI, there is no HMV exclusive if that's what you are assuming. There is one general release available everywhere in UK
